Cuisinart FP-14DC Review
Here are some reviews that I got from the real customers who already purchased this foods processor.
Review by Sunny Day 213 - There are already over 100 perfect "5" score reviews here, so I won't rehash the many great features of this wonderful kitchen tool.
I noticed that some of the negative reviews have a common complaint - that the there is a leaking problem if you fill the bowl with too much liquid. The line that is marked on the bowl by Cuisinart isn't that accurate (even if you don't fill beyond that line, you can still have a leaking problem). Here's what I do to avoid leaking problems. I just filled my bowl with water and found out exactly how much liquid that I could put into the bowl without having a leaking problem. Then I just remember to keep my liquids lower than that level. The result is that the unit does not leak. The leak problem seems to be pretty common to all brands of food processors, not just Cuisinart. Just read the reviews on the other brands and you read the same complaints.
Also, some folks mention that food gets under the seal in the lid. That regularly happens with mine too, but it always washes clean in the dishwasher. I'm sure different dishwashers have varying cleaning capabilities, and perhaps I'm just blessed with one that cleans better. But I wanted to mention here that I've had NO problems at all with cleaning. It's a breeze to clean this unit.
This food processor is the most useful appliance in my kitchen except for my stove. I use it a ton.
Review by D. Mattey - Short Version:
Pros: Versatile, quiet, powerful
Cons: The rubber seal in the cover can be a bit of a challenge to clean.
Longer Version:
We got this food processor several months ago, and we're using it a lot more than we thought we would. The multiple levels of safety (everything needs to be locked together the exactly correct way or it will not run) make it very difficult to actually hurt yourself (a big bonus for my wife), and for the most part it's really easy to clean and maintain.
I say "for the most part" because of the rubber seal around the top cover. The first time I used it I was grating some vegetables, and a fair amount of greenery was shoved up around the seal into the top of the cover. I'm certain if I had just put it in the dishwasher (top rack only, please), it would NOT have gotten clean. With the way everything else is engineered (I am an engineer, and this is a very well-designed machine), I thought there might be some way to take the seal off for cleaning. After some research online I learned there was not, but there are holes in the cover intended for cleaning. After some experimentation, I found that by using the high-pressure sprayer on my sink and firing it into those holes sequentially, I was able to clean out most of the stuff that was behind the seal. I got the rest of it by repeatedly pushing and releasing the seal (it's spring-loaded) while shooting the water in the holes. A little bit of a pain in the butt, but the only problem we've had so far.
The rest of the machine is as advertised - a lot of power, a lot of versatility, and surprisingly quiet.
Hope the reviews above help.

Laptop Touchpad won't work?
Last night, I took apart my computer (not like I took everything out of it, just took the screen, keyboard, and top cover off) in order to fix a problem with the mouse buttons. I fixed the buttons, and put everything back together, powered it on, and it worked fine except for the entire mouse/touchpad assembly. I thought i might've done something wrong, so I took it back apart, and discovered that a little ribbon cable running from the touchpad assembly to the motherboard was disconnected. I plugged it back into its housing, and the mouse buttons and touchpad still wont work. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
apperently it seems that mother board connection got wrong. So you need to visit the vendor now. or try replugging (thats even more bad).
