The T-Mobile G2x
Although the G2X is not one of the phone that would be considered sexy by its design, it does improve from its previous model, the T-Mobile G1. Measuring 4.68x2.37x0.5 inches and weighing only 6.5 ounces, the phone comes up as rather bulky in the smart phones category. However, even when inside the T-Mobile G2X case on, it can easily be slipped into the pants pocket if you remove the chin. The overall look is sleek and professional but the most striking feature design is its build quality. The soft -touch finish along with the stainless steel parts make this a very cool and unique device.
The T-Mobile G2X comes with both the Swype and Android keyboard and an additional QWERTY keyboard laid out in four rows. The buttons on the keyboard a well spaced and are decently sized. While the Swype is great, the keyboard is more intuitive to use for most tasks. There are also there “quick keys” on the bottom row that you can bookmark commonly used apps as well as a dedicated button for the .com extension. The G2X’s WVGA Super TFT capacitive touch screen is gorgeous and bright. Text is easy to read. Videos and images look great. The display also has a built-in accelerometer, a proximity sensor and pinch-to-zoom support that are very responsive.
The phone has a number of other controls. Below the display is an optical trackpad as well as the standard Android shortcuts of Search, Back, Menu and Home. On the right spine is a camera activation key while a Micro-USB and volume rocker are on the left side. One thing however seems to have a flaw: the slider hinge. While the mechanism that slide the screen is pretty smooth, it sometimes fails to lock in place. At times, the screen drops down when the G2X is held upside down.
This is one of the first ever HSPA + smart phone electronic devices. While HSPA is not technically 4G, it is much faster than 3G with theoretical speeds peaking at 14.4Mbps. However, keep in mind that the network is only available in 65 major metropolitan cities and reaches 100 million people. Some of those cities includes Boston, Los Angeles, New York and the California Bay area.

put new trackpad in old macbook?
i have a early 2008 macbook 13 in, and now they have the new macbooks with multitouch capabilities and i was wondering if it was posable to possibly get a top case from a new macbook and put it on my old one and if there is a way is there a tutorial on how to do it and where to buy the new ones
No for several reasons.
To replace the track pad, you need to replace the entire top assembly, including the keyboard. That right there kills the idea because the new top assembly will not fit an old macbook.
But there is more to it that kills the idea even further. The new top assemblies include the keyboard and track pad but also other components such as the speakers. The old top assemblies only include the keyboard and the trackpad, the speakers are already built in to the laptop.
But wait theres more. The new top assemblies have different connecting pins to the the logic board, so there is no way the new top assemblies can talk to older macbook logic boards.
