MOS 0317 (scout sniper)?
i am currently getting prepared to join the marine corp and my ultimate goal is to become a scout sniper. Besides working out and getting into shape, what other things should i be doing in my spare time. I have read a little bit of fm23-10 and the marine corp sniper manual and both of them say people with a strong hunting and outdoors history show good potential to become snipers (note: im not saying any hunter can go out and be a good sniper, just saying that some of the skills hunting requires can be usefull). Can hunting in the months leading up to me joining be something productive?
