The Okidata B6500dtn printer is a strong contender for the workhorse title when it comes to high workload organizations. It is a plain paper printer and copier with a 533 MHz processor clock speed. Size and Configuration
The B6500dtn printer is compact in size, with an outside dimension of 16.6" wide x 18.3" deep x 15.9" high. A full 700 sheets can be available in the input trays in the standard configuration. Two additional trays of 550 sheet capacity each bring the total input storage capacity at 1,800 sheets. Sheets of different sizes can be held in the different trays. On the output side, trays hold 700 face-up sheets or 500 face-down sheets. There is an optional catch tray for capturing your output.
Media Size
Various sizes of documents can be handled equally efficiently. A baker's dozen differently sized documents can be handled in standard mode. A custom-size configuration will handle a 3-inch by 5-inch card or a folio-sized document measuring 8.5 inches by 35.4 inches.
Costs
Duplex or two-sided printing doubles the efficiency, because both sides of the paper are used. This saves both time and supply resources. The cost of ownership is further managed due to the reliability of the equipment.
The standard configuration of the Okidata B6500dtn printer provides a high level of printing production. If necessary, upgrade options are available to increase functionality. RAM memory can be improved to a total of 640 MB. A flash drive or 60 GB hard drive will support additional features including Secure Print, Proof & Print and Delayed Print.
