Pet Door - Features To Look For
Are you tired of letting your pet in and out of the house? There's a remedy for that - a pet door. Here's a short guide to help you decide which pet door, and which features, you may want for your home.
The pet door should open allow more than inwards and outwards configuration. Ideally, a pet flap or door your pet can walk through is just fine. But you will also want to be able to lock the pet door once your pet comes home, so it can be safe at home with you. One useful feature is to be able to adjust the flap so that it either opens only inwards, or outwards; that way your pet can't get out or in once it goes through the flap. If the pet door can also be locked regardless of the direction it can open, that's added security and peace of mind for you.
Installing the pet door shouldn't be rocket science. If you're not going to be installing the pet door yourself, then it should at least be easy and fast to install. There are types of pet doors for various types of doors, including when you want to install it through walls - wooden or concrete. These of course can include extra tunnel extensions for thick walls. Simply choose the unit you deem fit for your home.
The pet door's height is vital. Unknown to some, pet doors aren't "standardized," since there are breeds that are large and some that are smaller than a cat. It's not hard to see why some pet doors made for small dog breeds would be big-breed-dog-safe; that means if you have a small or medium sized dog, then the right door size means a bigger dog can't get in.
It opens and closes only to your pet. Because a pet door is technically another entry into your home, it's not surprising that many incident reports mention it as a magnet for little kids, and thieves. What you can do to address this is to choose a particular type of pet door, that can be set to open and then lock after it swings either way. This set up includes a collar your pet will wear. This is how it works - the device on the collar is sensed by the pet door which opens when the collar is near; that way only your pet can get in and out.
Minimise heat loss, keep the cold out. Some pet owners reside in cold area, so their pet door should be set up to that heat loss is not much of an issue. This consists of having a tunnel space between two flaps, one flap on the outside of the door and the other on the inside. When you pet walks into the outer flap, that flap closes before the inner flap opens. Thus, heat loss in maintained at a minimum.
You of course would have to be ready to train your pet, in case it needs time to get used to the pet door; some pets won't even come close to the door.
How to replace the CANON EOS Rebel TI back cover Door Latch?
I would want to know how to open the back cover and replace the door latch. If anybody can help me out by providing the steps/or screenshots how to remove the back cover-LCD Display etc.
I ordered the camera back door latch from USCamera but I did not get any manual from there.....

Deposition: Casey Anthony believes her father drowned, molested Caylee (local6)
Judge Belvin Perry on Wednesday unsealed new never-before-seen depositions
from doctors who conducted psychological evaluations of Casey Anthony.

The evaluations with Dr. Jeffrey Danziger, a psychiatrist, and Dr. William
Weitz, a psychologist, revealed Anthony's most recent account of her being
sexually abused as a child and her most recent description of what she says
happened to her daughter, Caylee, whose body was found in December 2008.
Anthony was found not guilty of murder last year in the death of Caylee. From
the depositions, Anthony revealed that she thought she got pregnant with
Caylee from a date-rape. She told Danziger she was at a party where her drink
could have been drugged and that she woke up with her pants down.
She found out she was pregnant with Caylee after and didn't know who the
father was. Anthony told Weitz that she feared her own father, George Anthony,
was the father of the child, according to Weitz's deposition.
Danziger asked Anthony about how she could act normal during the 31 days
Caylee was missing.
