The Sharp AL 1020 Printer Toner Cartridge Is Among The Greatest Toner For Quality Photographs!
Working with the Sharp AL 1020 printer is an enjoyable enough task, especially considering that this laser unit belonging to the 1000 to 1200 line of such machines comes in at a price that is very attractive for those on a budget. Additionally, the people at Sharp throw in a good quality flatbed scanner, which turns this unit into what is called in the industry a "multifunction" machine. It does most things very well, which helps its attractiveness, and this includes the exceptional prints made with the Sharp 1020 Printer Toner Cartridge.
For businesses looking to present crisp, clear good-quality documents, this laser printer will certainly do the job. It uses digital technology instead of the older style analog technology to accomplish all of its tasks. Digital has been proven superior over time, and has helped to make this particular laser printer somewhat compact in size, which is something any cramped or small office will appreciate.
With the Sharp 1020 Printer Toner, this laser printer kicks out product that is crisp and clear and in monochrome black and white. This helps it to stand out nicely on any printed page. Businesses that depend for their livelihood on presenting clear looking documents to their clients will appreciate this fact. It also prints on transparencies and envelopes along with all of the standard tasks it can perform.
This particular Sharp weighs a relatively light 40 pounds in all, and that 40 pounds comes in an enclosure that is only 20.5" x 17.5" x 11.5" and colored in standard corporate white. Print speed is acceptable for a unit in this price range, kicking out 10 pages per minute overall. As far as multifunction units go, this Sharp 1020 is more than adequate.
Interface between this printer and a PC or laptop is via parallel ports and it connects to such a computer by means of wired technology. There are two such parallel ports, with both being standard IEEE 1284 types that feature 36 pin Centronics hardware. There are no expansion bays or expansion slots, so what you see is what you get, but it's quite good enough for what it has to do.
The AL 1020 printer holds 250 sheets of media paper in a single tray, with it being able to make use of standard legal size and three different standard letter size paper, including A, A4 and A5. This is pretty much ordinary fare, which isn't a bad thing as the machine itself is ready to go to work without need of adjusting its range of industry-standard media capabilities.
The first page will emerge from the unit after print tasking in around 10 seconds, which is more than acceptable for a multifunction laser printer that's geared toward home office use. It can be integrated into a large network, if the need arises, and will operate using most Mac or Windows operating systems up through Windows 98 and Windows NT.
Printed product comes out at 600 dpi by 600 dpi, which is enough to present itself in nice, clear black-and-white product every time. Also, documents can be printed out shrunk down to 50% in size or enlarged up to 200% in size, which should be more than enough for most any job. The flatbed scanner also accomplishes all of its functions in a fine manner.
When taken altogether, this Sharp 1020 Printer Cartridge does everything well and nothing poorly at all with the addition of Sharp Toner. The significant performance of Sharp Toner is always substantial, as are the savings on replacement toner when using such online companies as Qtoner. The Sharp AL 1020 is a nice addition to any small office.
Canon Pixma MP210 Multifunction/Printer - How do i get the cartridges in?
I just bought this printer and for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the ink cartridges in this thing? Am i complete moron or has anyone else had this issue. I must admit its my FIRST printer. The bays seem shallow and I don't know what these cartridges specifically snap onto?
Thanks!
